PAC is produced by the natural cotton short fibre with a series of a complicated chemical reaction. Tasteless and non-toxic, easily soluble in cold and hot water.It is a kind of water-soluble organic polymer in Oil Drilling Industry and can be used in all water-based drilling mud including freshwater, seawater, and saturated saltwater etc. Mainly be used in offshore drilling and land deep well. In the low solids drilling fluids, it can greatly reduce the filtration loss and make the mud cake thin. It also has a strong inhibiting effect for the shale hydration.
Performance
1. High mud making rate.
2. The mud fluids in the High salt medium can inhibit the expansion and dispersion of clays and shales. So the wellbore damage (pollution) can be under control. To delay the time of expansion of hydration of the clays.
