In the low solids drilling fluids, it can greatly reduce the filtration loss and make the mud cake thin. It also has a strong inhibiting effect for the shale hydration.

The fracturing fluid made by PAC has good solubility, speed gelation and strong prop-carrying capacity. It can have a better Fracturing effect in the stratum with low osmotic pressure.
